Manuals make more then 255rwhp stock. That's usually what auto's make.

I've seen bone stock manual GT's dyno from 250RWHP to 263RWHP depending on mileage.

Sure. $40 a fill, twice a month... So thats $80 a month, or $960 a year. Heck, lets just make it easy, let's say $100 a month, $1200 a year. Average blower $5200 (some are $4800, most are over 5k)...thats 5200 / 1200 = 4.3 years. (We'll say 4 years to make it easy and to absorb the original cost of the N2O kit) Heck, in 4-5 years youd be servicing that blower for another $800 or more.

So yeah...with a straight face...Nitrous Oxide is the best bang for the buck. (Specially if you want to get technical, and start figuring in the interest gained on the money still in your bank account because you didnt fork out $5k+ in a lump sum and the lack of wear and tear on a daily basis from the supercharger on your drivetrain, remember nitrous is only there when you want it.)

Most people think nitrous is some big mystery, or they simply dont understand it so they toss it to the side and dont look at it as an option. It is extremely safe, when installed correctly. It is extremely powerful, when used correctly. And yes, you can ruin your powerplant if you get greedy...and thats where the stigma comes from.

Huh???
I don't get your logic
So NOS is going to cost $1200 per year just to maintain plus the initial cost of the NOS kit ($550-$800).
So over four years that would be ~$5400, correct?
A super charger is ~$5200, correct?
Um I'll take the SC anyday over NOS.

Plus the added benefits of the whine, everyone love the whine! lol
Also what happens when you forget to fill the bottle and get smoked?
I am sure all the trips to get the NOS bottle filled has got to get annoying after awhile.
Still think its the best bang for your buck?

Sure looks like nitrous and blowers cost about the same in the long run once all factors and expenses are examined.

However, I don't want to mess with making sure the bottle has nitrous left in it, is actually open, the switch is activated, etc. when someone pulls up next to me. I just want to know that ANYTIME I want to have full power available, it's just a tap of the right foot away. That's why a supercharger or turbo is more attractive than nitrous to me, but to each their own.

That's my train of thought. Except it would cost me WAY more for nos than a s/c in the long term. The way I drive I'd be going through more than 2 bottles a week.
