BBK vs. Steeda UDPs
I got one commited.. waiting on another. Lowe are you in? Anyone else?
I am going with a vortech HO with aftercooler some time soon and was wondering if the water pump pullies and all that other stuff will work with the S/C.

Actually both the Steeda and Roush pulleys are identical, only the Roush set doesn't supply a replacement bolt for the factory water pump stud in which Roush recommends trimming the water pump stud instead of just replacing it..Personally I also don't like the idea of replacing the bolt out of fear that it may either be too long ? or the threading may not be the same pattern which could possibly screw up the water pump threads..

I understand where your coming from, it's just there has to be a pretty good reason behind Roush recommending the factory water pump stud be trimmed instead of replacing it altogether with a new bolt..
I've installed a set on a friends car already. Not one problem. I like the fact that you get a replacement bolt. That way, it doesn't look like a hack job... pun intended.
I was debating changing the h2o pump at the same time, but screw it. baby steps, one thing at a time. If there was ever a time to get a NEW set of Steeda UD pullies, this is it.
What the he!!, I'm in for the Steeda pulley set. So that makes 4 so far, right? Just need at least 1 more! Maybe an appropriatly titles thread would help out....

The Steeda pulleys are different than the Roush, The Roush pulleys are made in Australia by Power bond and the Steeda pulleys are made in the U.S.A. Also the Steeda pulleys have a better frequency tune to the crank than the Roush. They have a lifetime guarantee as well.

Ok... I heard back. That makes 3 set for my group. So That's 5 correct?
The replacement bolt is identical thread, as well as underhead length. It's actually a nicer deal to replace the bolt, rather than do a hack job on the stock stud, but if you do that right it's nice anyway. Either way it doesn't matter. Roush and Steeda both make nice pulleys, and that bolt/stud shouldn't have any affect on the install or quality ratings of either product.
As far as purchasing these pulleys:
We can take VISA, MC, DISC, AMEX over the phone, or they can send paypal to htspeed@comcast.net for $192.99. When I have recieved 5+ I can ship them out.
THANKS, HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYS THEM!

I think that this will work fine with the charger and cooler, I just assume there would be a different belt configuration. Something else that I have installed seperate, but never in conjunction with each other.

Payment made . You should have an email CR.
Technically they will have issues with warranty if the motor fails. These are black, and it's hard to tell that they're underdrive pulleys unless the mechanic is good enough to notice the difference. You can always swap the pulleys, but it's a pain. I don't think you'll have any problems with them, though.
