BBK Throttle Body Releasing.........Finally!!

It's that time guys.

BBK has finally submitted and confirmed a release date of the long and anticipated wait of their performance product, the Throttle Body, for the 05-06 Mustang GT.

Now I know many of us have have called BBK and they've always pushed back the release date and given us the run around, but this is one date they cant change.

They have several hundreds of back-orders they need to fulfill for their vendors, distributors and customers. So the time has come. They have made a mass production of Throttle Bodies ready to be sent out.

The release is this Friday May 19th.

For all those who have a BBK Throttle Body on pre-order, be prepared to have one at your door step in a matter of days!

Just thought I'd pass along the good news, I know some of us have our doubts about the whole T/B thread in where we have discovered that some T/B's give us little or no gains, but dont forget the MM&FF article on the BBK T/B and the big gains it produced. But lets see if we can give BBK a chance in the race for the T/B wars.

cool, a big hunk of metal bound to cause all those with pre-orders OBDII readiness issues and send em into FailSafe mode.

Hi there

Well I am looking forward to see how people get on with these.....

The marketing hype makes them sound superb with great improvements but marketing hype is bound to say such things.

So can't wait to here what people BUTT-DYNO's have to say and to see some real dyno results. If they are truly good I shall be buying one.........

That article was one that just hit my "Yeah. Right." button. Way too much gains for what they did.

The fact that this test came out 8 months or so ago and they are JUST NOW releasing the parts also makes me wonder: did they delay because of manufacturing issues (they had a fully working prototype after all a LONG time ago) or is it because they KNOW they will never make those numbers on independent tests so they wanted to let people forget the article...

Time WILL tell the tail.

The best TB you can get is already on your car.

I'm not convinced it will make any real difference even with a power adder. You'll notice that a new TB is conspicuously missing from my wish list.

i thought they dynoed all the tb's and found that all were consistent with no power gains to only 1 or 2 hp gains.

Maybe if they chromed it, it at least would look better on your car......even if it did nothing at all.

How about anodized in either blue or black? How about raw aluminum?

Pick your color. Either way they are more than likely nothing more than an engine dress up item. Just my .02$

Are these independent dyno runs hype? Are they liable for false claims? http://www.brothersperformance.com/d...asyArticle.pdf

We need a test subject.

I gotta call anthony back, he said he would have them in today, I may pull the trigger on it today, but I'm thinking that maybe BBK will be at Carlisle, and maybe they will sell it cheaper there.

I do not believe one word of this HYPE.
Did you ever notice that they never do the TB only? There is always more to it like adding a pipe and tune they fail to mention. If you want one I'll sell you mine for a lot less plus a spacer and it a lot better eye candy than this casting.
