Thumbs up

I am ordering a Bassani x-pipe and axle-back exhaust this week so I need to have the factory x-pipe cut out and the whole thing welded up. With no lift and no welding experience I am not going to do this myself. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to find a good shop that can do this? There is a Meineke down the street from me and I know the owner and I have heard they do good work but I always thought that they only installed the exhausts they sell such as magnaflow. Any one have any suggestions please?

if you buy the full x-pipe with hi flow cats no need to cut stock h pipe. just on bolt , best way to take a part pull mufflers first than pull the two long pipes from h pipe ,on bolt h pipe . start puting x pipe on than the two long pipes on ,bolt mufflers .keep every thing lose put small jack in the middle of x pipe jack it up so it don't hang start tighting x pipe first work your way back . took me by myself to do the job 3 hours /quote]

I am not buying the full x-pipe with the high flow cats b/c I do not think they will pass the emissions laws in NY so I need to cut the factory x-pipe out from behind the factory cats and weld in the Bassani x-pipe. I then need that x-pipe welded to the stock pipes that will then go into the new Bassani axle-back system.

hey bud -

what I would do is find a local mustang (or any performance car) club and get recommendations from them, or maybe someone in the club does exhaust

you're gonna love the new sound !!
