Bassani High Flow Cats
I have the Bassani set up that has removable high flow cats... whats the difference in performance and sound if i keep them on or use the mod to take them off?

I am think about getting the bassani cats. Did you notice a difference in sound or loudness with the highflow cats. There wouldn't be much or a loss or gain with highflow cats. Some say there is no differrence between the stock cats and highflows..

If your running an x pipe, there will probably be some raspiness (trumpeting) when you remove the cats. It will be quite a bit louder, but not as deep. Not sure of any perfermance difference.

I have the Bassani x-pipe with cats. I removed the cats and it was louder but higher pitched and raspier. I like the sound better with the cats on.
I also did before and after dyno runs. There was no difference in HP or torque.

I have the same setup. There is a difference between the stock cats and bassani hi-flow cats. But Its a lot louder with no cats then the hi- flow cats. Im still running it with no cats, but it is noticably more raspy between 2500-3000 rpm.

I dont want it unbearable, sometime the drone gets me deaf when Im on the highway. It just doesnt seem that loud to me. Not sure if putting the pass thru pipes on will help or hurt. I get alot of compliments as it is. I dont want it to sound cheap. Any advice?
