Baselined the car last night

I made some baseline pulls with the car last night.

266hp/285tq.

During the pull the intake tube would start to collapse so I removed the air filter and believe it or not, lost 25hp. It runs REAL rich with the air filter removed. Didn't get a chance to remove the emissions trap. The blower will be installed this weekend and tuning will begin next weekend. I'll keep you all posted, or watch my site for updates.

Welcome to the Forum! I don't remember where I read it, but one of the shops/tuners reported losing hp when they removed the air filter

I did just that. I posted in another thread about the details but here were my results on a Mustang dyno on Friday:

Bone Stock w/HC trap

HP: 255.7@5250
TQ: 265.6@4250

w/ HC trap removed

HP: 261.2@5250
TQ: 269@4250

backed up by an almost identical pull on the third run

HP: 261.1@5250
TQ: 269@4250
