Installed the 87 perf tune yesterday, got lean codes 171 and 174. thought it might have been user error, so i re-downloaded the tunes and tried it again, same deal.

took everything apart and started over completely today. unplugged the negative terminal cable, checked the JLT, and installed the 93 race tune (i have filled up the last 3 tanks w/93) - same deal.

at this point i'm a little tired of taking everything apart and putting it back together lol.

i sent doug and email and tried to call last night, but haven't heard back yet. suggestions?

 

u reconnect the MAF sensor right? Not trying to be smart... I forgot to install it twice myself. Good Luck

just talked to doug. when i ordered the new tunes, i didn't include that I had a JLT from my old car....file this under dumb@ss moves of the year...one of these days i'm going to blow the ****ed thing up lol..

 

Oh ok so I'm assuming he sent you a corrected tune. Good to hear you didnt have to wait long to hear from him. Another example of good customer service.

 

yeah doug is the man. he sent me the correct tunes and i'm good to go...
