Just have to say that if you are looking for a great tune, stop your looking and email Doug over at BamaChips.

I know it's been stated before by others, but he does awesome work and has a lot of options. His tune blew away what I had previously.

He has some of the best customer service that I've ever seen. Answers emails quickly and goes into great detail when you ask questions.

I havent even tried out the torque tune yet, I had him take his performance tune and he tuned it to my car while I was up on the dyno. So, Im using a custom performance tune basically, 93 octane. I believe the performance adds it across the range, while the torque adds a little bit more to the low end.

I got the peformance and the torque tune. Always nice to have options. =)

I do mainly city stop light driving so I'll probably keep the torque tune and switch to peformance if it ever go to the track to get the top end power.

What they all said... Doug is da man!! :worship:

I have used the torq and perf tunes both on the street (for 275/50-17 street tires) and at the track (for 275/40-17 drag radials). Since I have an automatic, I prefer the torq tune(s). The car seems to launch and respond better with those tunes, so that is what I run all the time now. I like quicker 60' times more than a few extra peak hp.

Doug is a good friend of mine and all of you are right he is a heck of a nice guy and he knows how to tune. We recently installed a S-trim Vortech on a 2002 GT w/full magnaflow exhaust and C@L elbo. He made 406 rwhp! Doug is probably as good a tuner or better than that other guy in Georgia

Thats what I was wanting to know. I doubt I have a good tuner down here in new orleans....I would like to find someone closer to tune my car...but I might have to make a road trip.

Get both tunes!!! You can have up to 3 tunes! Go with like a 93 Torque, a 93 Performance and whatever octane performance/torque tune you would like. Or just keep the two.

I have both =P I'm just wondering what everyone preferred. I use the performance tune most of the time it seems like.
