Hi all,

I got my new SCT X2 Thursday and loaded in the 87 Performance tune yesterday. Very easy by the way just as you all have said. On my first drive down the road, I didn't think there was much of a difference, but I was just putting down a back road. As soon as I came to a stop, and opened her up on the main drag, HOLY HORSEPUCKEY!! This sucker takes off with authority now and the auto-trans is shifting real firm and snapping my head back...Cool! I can't wait to try the 91 torq and race tunes after I get some 91 fuel in the tank. Good job Doug and thanks. My mustang sure feels quicker now and is even more fun to drive.

 

What are your 3 tunes? I want to get Dougs deal package and only get 87, 89 and 91 Oct...Just want to know what tunes you received...I here the torque is a good one...Thanks...

 

I got the 87 performance, 91 torque, and 91 race....

i got 93 race, 93 torque, and 93 performance better to get the octane you use most

 

I am confident that you'll like the race tune the best. It's my favorite

 

Once I get used to it ? the race tune will also be my favorite..However now I sort of regret not ordering an automatic ? but then again If I had known that Doug exsisted 2 years ago ? you can be sure that I would have

 

i use the race tune everyday....i love it........matter of fact there is this srt charger lurking around by me would love to get at that....doug tunes are really great...you won`t be sorry

 

Yeah i have dougs 91 race and that's all that stay's in my car, I have his 87perf 91perf and 91race and the 91 race is the one i like the best. Doug is da man.

I have the 93 Octane Race and Transmission Tune and use it in my daily driver. Its a blast

Doug does offer different tunes for the auto trans. My transmission was programmed to have shift points that more emulate a stick shift during normal driving.

I'm still waiting on the test results of the new highrise intakes from Doug.

This will probably be my last high dollar mod for the GT until I can put together enough money to get a GT500. (atleast 2yrs)

I had the 91 performance tune in on Tuesday(I said earlier I got the 91 torq but I meant 91 performance ). Totally awesome I really liked the acceleration and snap even better than the 87 perf. I put in the 91 race tune yesterday and had it again today. Holy tire smoke, that's some serious throttle response. I took from a stop light last night and boy does she smoke the tires now! I really like it but I think I will go back to the 91 performance tune. I have a gravel driveway and it is almost impossible to drive up it without spinning the tires with the race tune... All in all these custom tunes by Doug are incredible and they really do make it seem like a much different, quicker accelerating Mustang. Bang for the buck it is well worth it!

 

 

dang now i really can not wait, i live in the lower part of texas and the intake and tuner are in san antonio which is like a 4 hour drive from here and they said it arrived there at 4:30 and has not left, it is 9:00 here, this sucks i should have just gone and picked it up myself
