If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Especially when they say things like ..."Hurry before the supply is gone". If I were you I would be a little careful. There are other suppliers of aluminum driveshafts that are not that much more expensive. I got mine from Powerhouse 411.

be careful?for what?
i don't do this to make my living and i surely don't make that much money by doing it. i get 4-5 emails a week asking about them and when i will have more done. i really don't give a **** if someone wants to spend $150-500 more for someone elses driveshaft. i just do it to help out the people who ask for them.

thats okay i just didn't understand what was going on.
anybody wants that disney lamp? you'll have to talk to my wife. it sure is nice...i think?...well, i've never actually seen it but it's probably got cinderella and all that on it. i have sooo much pink stuff in my house it looks like a pepto-bismal bomb exploded.

are they really gaining 20 hp, sounds a little high to me, but havent really looked too much into these drive shafts. Has anyone actually have one of these and have it dyno'd to see the gains, if so please post a sheet. thanks.
Its not gaining 20hp its 20rwhp. It'll cost less energy for the engine to turn.
i haven't dyno'd one yet but in a virtually stock gt auto(mine) it gained .23 seconds.that was a same day swap using the same lane, multiple runs etc.. i don't believe that a s/c or n2o car would see a gain like that but surely they would see about a tenth to tenth 1/2. whoevers driveshaft you get your going to lose about 30lbs. of rotating weight. thats huge! prostock teams spend $8000-12,000 for gun drilled titanium axles that are 3-4 lbs lighter than regular steel gun drilled axles. same thing with their gears losing 2-3 lbs. costs $1000 or more so 30lbs for $450-500 is a steal. it's why i took a shot at trying to make that shaft work in the first place. at that time the only thing available was BMR's gold and diamond encrusted carbon fiber unit. great product(i think, i don't know anyone that bought one) just a little too pricey for the gains.
rebel
the only problem is if you have lowered the car more than 1" and still have the factory rea control arms. they let the rear end rotate too much causing the driveshaft to rub on the tunnel. i did experience this cause i was trying to run a stock upper and good lowers with the car 2"lowered. as soon as i changed the UCA it solved the problem. oh and i didn't have that problem until i went more than 1" lower.
it's a good idea to replace those crappy control arms even if you don't have an aluminum driveshaft. the difference in traction is substantial.
