Doug is out of town right now, probably why he does not answer his phone . As for E mails, he gets a ton of them and tries to keep up. Give him a bit as he is a "One man Band" . If your tunes are not in his laptop, he (and you) will have to wait untill he gets back home to get them to you.

He went to SEMA a week early? It does not start until the 30th. Does anyone know if he is filling orders while he is traveling? I have a customer that placed an order and his website said nothing about any additional delays in getting a tune.

For those that don't know, Doug just moved his buisiness out of his house and into a storefront. He has been real busy getting things situated and he doesn't have alot of help. I am hoping my 17 year old son will be working for him soon (answering phone calls and e-mails)
Please be patient he will get back to you!

ya I think with him being away from the shop he has time to get to the emails. I asked a simple question and got a reply the next day. Now thats the way it should be...
TACBEAR. I pray that your son gets the job. Doug needs his services.

I got my tunes from Doug, did the SCT update, and loaded one of the custom tunes. I'm looking forward to taking the car to the track this weekend to see how it does.
I'm still peeved at SCT for pulling a Microsoft and shipping a product that was not ready. I spent an hour of my time doing the update. You ought to see how PO'd some of the Mopar guys are at SCT. They're gonna screw around and lose their customer base.

I agree, the X3 from what i have seen and heard is not a real upgrade and is not all that different from the Xcal2, so releasing it with many problems is not good by any means, there was no pressure to get it to the market at all IMO. If the features were more robust and this was a totaly new tuner that is one thing, but that is not the case at all.

Actually, when I asked Brent @ Brenspeed what tuner device is sold in his kit, he strongly advised me to be mailed the XCal2 instead of the 3. He made it very clear to me that the version 3 is still really screwy ahead of time. I did not take chances, getting the 3rd version is simply not worth the headache and version 2 offers just what I need.

Wish I would have done that. The headache of wondering what my settings are really at, is really ****ing me off..
Sooo question for you smartypants. If I data log, can I see what settings are being used for the tune I am running???
