I may, just for the heck of it, bolt the stock shifter back in as if nothing ever happened and take it to the dealer and tell them that I was driving and I shifted it hard and i heard a snap and now it won't move. Maybe I can pull that off......

As a collective, we would disavow any knowledge of such an activity We got your back

Good luck Maverick, sorry to hear about the shifter problems. Hopefully Chris responds soon, you have me a little nervous about the shifter. Keep us posted on your progress.

The linkage is WEAK. It has NOTHING to with any shifter. Mine broke with the stock shifter. Don't be so quick to place blame. The metal material is junk. One of two things happened....You either shifter it real hard and banged a gear-which I did or you over tightened the nut and rung it off.
