Question Axleback Exhaust Question

I'd like to upgrade the stock axlebacks on my 06 GT. However, I like how quiet the ride is at cruising speeds. I'd love to have a throatier tone or even louder tone while accelerating...but I don't want resonance driving me nuts while the cruise is set. Any ideas???

Look at these http://www.ninosport.com/Supreme-GT-...&category=-102

A lot of people like them, slightly louder and deeper than stock, but NO drone and nice quality.

sounds like you want magnaflow. they are a quiet kit, but throatier on acceleration

Cool guys. Thanks. I've seen the ones on the shelby GT-H. The 4"dia tips look really big. Not sure if I like those or not. But still better than stock.

you may want to look at corsa. no drone, mellow @ idle, great sound when you hit it. had flowmasters originally & switch to the corsa and my only complaint is that i did not do it sooner.

Corsas are awesome, for sure. I had no regrets with mine, other than with an offroad H pipe they were just a little too loud at times. With the factory midpipe or a catted X, they were great.

I also thought about Corsa's but the question is ? are they really worth $600.00 + IMO the Borla/FRPP stingers are just as good and much less expensive..The GTA's and SLP are also a possibility at even lower pricing..

I had some FRPP/Borla's, but hey had drone at certain RPM, and where a tad too loud, but sounded deep and mean, and a good price.

JBA's are pretty good, just a little deeper and louder than stock with no drone at all. They only have 3" tips. Very nice on long road trips, hardly any exhuast noise in the cabin, the wind is a lot louder at interstate speeds, but I have some Dynamat in the trunk, too. Not nearlly as epensive as the Corsa's. I've thought about going to Corsa's, but the JBA's are so nice on the interstate, I can't see going to something different just yet. They have a nice "blub blub blub" sound at idle, just a little meaner sounding than stock.

I'd say the Corsa's are better, but they also cost about twice as much.

i say the best exhuast by far without going open is the Coffins, i love these things and they sound better then Corsa's plus the intake and tuner really woke them up

From reading some of the other forums here...I decided to go with the FRPP GTA's. Couldn't beat the price and from everyone's opinions about them, it sounds like what I'm looking for.
