Axle-Back Sound Different than Cat-Back?

Ordered a Borla Axle-Back because I saw no need to replace the already mandrel bent piping. Assuming Borla/Magnaflow etc. removed one or two bends, would this make ANY difference in sound?

I took fluid dynamics and can't think of a reason as far as air flow is concerned (though there will be slightly less losses due to removal of bends....).

Thoughts?

Go study for your exams and quitk thinking about this

Get the axle back on, rev+scare children and all will be good

Haha..... I ordered it. I love the way it sounds but I'm just curious.... you bum.

I have Magnaflow,s axleback, and I almost believe at idle my factory was louder.But they do sound nice at speed and decelaration.Want to loose the cats then see how they sound.
