I went with the GTA's. Haven't driven her yet, but inside the car it has a nice tone

One of the nice things about the GTAs (and axle-backs in general) is that they sound more aggressive to those around and in back of you than they do in the car itself. I really like that. (So does Mrs. DAVISinLA )

(Hey, do we all smoke like that?)

Triflow - don't be alarmed if they smoke a bit the first several times you drive the car.....mine smoked quite a bit burning off the oil (or whatever it is they use during the manufacturing/shipping process) and they will sound better (sharper and a bit louder) when you get around 1K miles on them. I'm very pleased with my GTA's - have had many exhaust systems in the past and these are the best to date (IMO).

These are the axle-back mufflers used on the Shelby GT and Hertz Shelby. They are relatively mild when you drive easy, but really come alive above, say, 3000 RPM...fantastic at WOT (wide open throttle) approachinig red line.

They are made by Supreme...

I don't know about "better" but if I'm not mistaken, these are louder.

Do you know what Drone is? It is pretty anoying...loud pipes are cool for the sound they make when taking off...or setting off car alarms...however, they'll make your brain numb while cruising or while on the highway. I have a set of Corsa's and they sound awesome when you want them to and have absolutely no drone while cruising. You get for what you pay.

+1. Me and Al finally agree on something

But, to clarify something that Al said: the Corsa's are pretty loud when taking off, or whenever you put your foot into the gas.

If you are asking abotu the GTA's - on occaision - but not generally.
Also, in response to a comment above, (IIRC) the GTA's are the FRPP axlebacks...Supreme makes them for FRPP. I do believe that FRPP has other exhaust sets as well.

Rather more than axlebacks on my '07, I have American Racing Longtubes with catted X-pipe into SLP loudmouths. It's errr... not for the shy and retiring
