Does anyone know which Axle Backs come on the GT/CS from the factory?

Also which axle backs do you have on your GT/CS? Are they nice and deep but without the Rice touch! Also are they over powering inside your vehicle? (Can anyone with a Vert also tune in on this subject?)

To answer your question about verts: I have Corsa's, and there is NO drone....Honestly

If drone is a concern, then just get the corsa's. They are little pricey, but well worth it.

 

I think I am going to go with the Bassani Race axle backs......They have great stuff. But if your worried about drone then get the Corsa's. I just have to figure out If I like drone more than those huge cans hanging from under the car or not before I buy.......

Although not officially a GT/CS, I've got the front and rear bumpers. I've also got Flowmaster American Thunder's on, and think they look great with the rear bumper, and sound fantastic. If there's any drone, I really don't even notice it any more.

I don't have a shot from straight behind the car, but if you want I can go snap one quickly.

Otherwise, heres what the AT's look like.

 

If you don't want cabin drone (over powering inside) you have to pay the extra dough and buy Corsa. Initially, I went cheap and got a set of Macs and drove them once to work...and once back...removed them and installed the originals until my Corsas came in. You get for what you pay.

 

I had SLPs over powering inside, then put on the GTAs, i like the GTAs the best and not over powering.

 

The standard GT/CS axle backs are the same as the stock GT versions - but they have polished tips.

 

+1 and I have the Supreme GTA's (same as the Shelby GTH comes with) and they are great. Nice sound, no drone and reasonably priced....plus those dual wall 4" tips are awesome looking!!

By the way, why does a axle back cost so much on 05+ when I paid alot less for my 02 GT's O/R X-pipe and cat back flowmaster system?

 

Awake - nice pic really shows the diff in tip size!! A bit hard to see the dual wall though

 

Reccomend you spray paint the ends of the muffler flat black, high temp. Looks much better!

The wife's car -'07 GT/CS has Magnaflow catback, nice tips, larger than stock and better shaped.
