I'm getting ready to upgrade my differential and I was wonder what axels to use.
I have C-clip eliminator kit but still will be using C-clip axels. The tubes are welded and I'm going to install an Eaton True trac center section. I do race and run sticky tires and the car is a manual with 400 RWHP. So I was going to get the Moser C-clip axels from AM for 399.00 but I saw Strange sells C-clip axels for 260.00. Both are forged and made as stock replacement. Are the Mosers 140.00 better axels or are the Strange just a better deal? I would appreciate any imput anyone might have

I am currently building a new differential and I decided to go with Strange components – 35 spline Spool Axles, C-Clip Eliminators and there Caliper mounts for OEM brakes. Here are a few pictures of the pieces.











I had the axle tubes welded and shortened 1” per side.

 

nice job.Im running 31 spline still and need to use the C-clip axels because of the center section that I'm using. Im just not sure if the Moser axels are better than the Strange as far as the C-clip axels go. Very nice job on your diff. Thanks for the pics too.
