axel back exhaust
#1
I want to get an axel back exhaust for my '06 GT and what I really like the sound of is the SLP Loudmouths but I think they might be a bit too loud and just **** off my parents and neighbors. So I thought that the next best thing would be magnapacks, I herd a clip of them and they sounded the loudest compared to all the others (except for SLPs). But I wanted to know if the magnaflow axel back is the same as the magnapacks? And does anyone else have any other suggestions for an exhaust?

Go with the Flowmaster's, they are pretty loud but not as loud as SLP's. They got a nice muscle car rumble to it. My neighbors can always tell when I'm home!! But of course my neighbors love the sound and still give me the thumbs up everytime I drive it. my one neighbor is still anxious to drive my car, but def go with the Flowmasters.
Plus Flowmasters are the lowest price I've seen, I payed $245 for the Flowmasters and they are well worth it! If you want, I'll give you the info to where you can get the exhaust kit for $245.

I would listen to clips of everything you are considering before you purchase. Don't get something just because someone says "get them, they are awesome." FWIW, I love the Mac's. With the H it is a little loud, but to me loud=

Go with the FRPP/Borla axle backs. Best I have heard yet. I owned the Bassani as well and the frpp/borla's are nice and deep and yet scream when you want em too.

I have the Flowmaster and they are great.
Check this site out for some different sound clips.

Well, scratch that. They used to have a bunch of sound clips. Dunno what happened. Sorry.
