I also was in the middle of some emails with Doug. I bet that the hurricane has messed up phone lines, power, etc. Alabama got hit hard although not as bad as New Orleans and Biloxi, etc.
Yes, the storms from the hurricane has affected the area. I'm about 12 miles north of Bham, Doug is about 40-50 miles from me. In my area, the power has been out off & on, cable internet service off & on, winds have blown some trees down, lots of rain, crap blown around everywhere, etc. Be patient and give the area a little time to recover.

i have the c&l with altenative tune. i have had it for a couple of months and can not be happier. you will need the c&l intake to use lido's tune. i have herd that bamma has tunes for other intakes. i do not think that you can go wrong with either one.

I bumped this because I am ready to buy my intake and tune. I have decided on the C&L intake.

I know Doug is a little busy right now so I didn't know how much longer he is going to be out and I'm sure there is a list of people that want to buy from him.

I called Alt auto this afternoon. Didn't speak to Lidio but to somone else and I was geeting the impression that maybe I was bothering him with my questions about mounting, 90mm intake coming out soon and if any problems occur when I reflash the car.

Has anybody else had this experience with alt auto because I'm still on the fence between these two and yes I do have an auto tranny.

I left Lidio a message one evening. He called me back the next day to let me know that he was very busy with some major issues and would call me make that evening. He did. I can't imagine better customer service than that. He spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me at about 7:45pm his time simply talking about a new tune for my car. I can also tell you this; he "saved" me from spending $1600 in a spot that I don't need it!

Not to speak for Lidio or Alternative Auto... but all the Speed Shops in the Detroit Metro Area are still trying to recover from the Woodward Dream Cruise! LOL! Everyone comes in at the last minute to get their car ready for the WDC and as a results the shops get absolutly crazy!!! I would suggest you do like Weedo... Just leave a message for Lidio... He WILL call you back... He will answer your question and you will have different view of his shop...

Has anyone tried BOTH tunes? From Alt Auto and Bamachips? Obviously people can go on and on about how they were treated and that THEIR tune is night&day...but can anyone show us potential buyers some numbers, or at least give us opinions after trying BOTH?

I went from JLT/DTP to Alternative Auto/C&L, and the difference was night and day. I see no reason to try a tune from anyone else, I am extremely happy with Alternative Auto and their customer service, so it makes no sense to try a tune from someone else.
