I've had my GMS CAI a couple months on my 2007 Mustang GT and it works flawlessly. If my car ever had any hesitation it sure isn't present now. I am extremely happy with the power and the powerful growling sound it now makes. I think GMS should have eliminated the minor issues, such as the small clamps, filter fitment, the mass airflow sensor harness not locking into position, scratched and scuffed finish and general miss-alignment problems before coming to market though. They are small issues but they turn some people off. Like msully says "Don't believe the naysayers" it does perform.

So let me get this straight.. according to msully ? he picked up 283 HP with both the GMS 2.5 exhaust and GMS CAI w/MAF right ? so here's my questions ? how much did he spend for the 2.5 exhaust and CAI ? and what did he actually pick up with just the GMS CAI by itself ? I spent $328.00 for my X-CAL II tuner and $372.00 for my Steeda CAI for a grand total of $700.00 and picked up 277 HP with just my stock exhaust.. Therefore I'm quite sure he spent over $700.00 for both his GMS CAI and 2.5 exhaust in order to pick up his 283 HP..

I received the GMS CAI on September 21, 2006 and it came with two No. 72 clamps (127mm or 5" max).

Wrong. I spent $650 for both. This was their sale price in August. I am also running 87 octane fuel, not 93 octane like you are.

well that's cool you were able to get both at their sale price in August plus the 283HP you picked up is pretty good being that your running 87 octane but I'm still curious as to what you picked up with just the GMS intake by itself

I don't know, I only dynoed them together. GMS says their exhaust is worth 10-15 hp and their CAI 20-25. I don't think these numbers are necesarily additive.

I'm also confused and don't know how to quite make it out ? I did check over your results a week or so ago ? and being that your car was dynoed on a mustang dynometer, it seems those number are pretty high which was why people were asking if the dynometer was in dynojet mode ? As for your GMS exhaust ? I'm just as confused as well, from what I understand ? the factory exhaust is supposed to be pretty much not that restrictive to begin with, so I don't understand how a cat back exhaust is going to provide a 10-15 HP gain..
