Anywhere to get TCI Ratchet Shifter for less than $500?

I really want to get one of these for my '06 auto GT, but I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to spend $500 on it. Is there anywhere to get one cheaper other than just looking on eBay for a used one? Anyone here have one for sale maybe? Or know of a place to get a better deal? Thanks!

mrp5150,

The TCI shifter is a great product. The stock automatic shifter is good for everyday driving, but it has some drawbacks when it comes to serious street/strip performance. TCI's StreetFighter Ratchet Shifter for the GT and V6 provides a positive stop shifting action that allows you to manually “speed shift” your Mustang's transmission without fear of hanging between gears or missing a gear all together.

We have the TCI priced at $499.99 with a free standard shipping. However we have an option to sweeten the deal a bit! We offer a forums discount for all active posting members with a minimum of 50 post, Shoot me a PM & I'll hook you up!

We also offer price matching, so if you would like to shop with American Muscle but find it cheaper, we can match it!

Let me know if you have any questions or need assistance!

- Dan

70Mach1Owner,

I'm sure you'll be very happy with the product wherever you purchase it from.

However keep in mind that we do offer price matching, if you do choose to order with American Muscle.

We have 99% of our product in house & ship the same day for free!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance in the future!

It's more expensive on there than on AM though? With the forum discount and the AM pricing it would be around $470. I guess that's not too bad of a price, but weren't these things selling for around $300 in the past?

EDIT: Oops, I was looking at the market price. My fault!

I have had mine for about 4 years now I guess and it was like $319 or something like that. Not any more. They are still a bunch of fun and a great looking piece of equipment.

This has never happened to me. I have drivin a car with one of these and while it is somewhat fun to me it isn't worth the cash. Use the 500 on something else maybe an intake and tune or something that will give you some hp or better handling. Just my 1.5 cents worth of advice

I already have a CAI. The next two mods I want are a Bama tune and the TCI shifter. I'll definitely be getting both. Just need to decide which one first.
