Price isnt bad. Is it truly as accurate as it says it is? The GT1 is only $100. i dont think i would need the GT2. Any input on these would be appreciated.

Also, i am looking to replace my passport 7500. radar technology hasnt changed too much in recent years, so i am kinda hesitant. I know the whats best topic has been discussed thousands of times, and it always comes down to the 8500 and the valentine. Is it worth the upgrade? I havent researched it since I bought the 7500 (just after it came out)

Ive heard from place to place that the Gtimer gives really inaccurate information. My 2004 M3 used to do 0-60 in about 4.6 seconds, the GTimer read 4.1! I don't know much about them, but hopefully some people who have used theirs more than I have will post!

I had one back when I still had my 02 GT. I didn't use it that much and IMO it's better to spend the money on a radar detetcor or something more useful.

The g-timer is definitly a fun toy to play and practice with...but it is just a toy. I have the g-timer1 and so far it's been very accurate while at the track. As far as the radar detectors......you're right, either 8500 X50 or the valentine/ They are both trally good and top of the line.

i found the gtech, and for the few extra bucks, the ss model seems to be worth it. it does graphing and has 3 sensors as opposed to 2. I am a mac user, so their software is useless to me unless i use virtual pc, but thats just a pain in the hiney. i started to scope out ebay, but there isnt much when compared to the prices of online retailers.
