anyone order wheels/tires from AmericanMuscle?

http://www.americanmuscle.com/anthra...8x9-18x10.html

Anyone ordered from them before? I'm about ready to order some 18x10 Anthracite wheels and Nt555 285/40/18, they say mounting the tires and balancing is free, and so is shipping. Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. Anyone ordered from here before? Do the Anthracite wheels match the look of factory wheels (aside from the different size, and the deep dish)? I'm going to leave my front wheels factory (for now).

They reputable? Any other place that has better prices, that includes mounting/balancing and free shipping? I'm not sure if the prices I see on there are good, or not.

I have ordered a few things from them. Throttle Body, underdrive pullies, CAI, Tuner, Ignition Coils, And The Cervinis Ram Air Hood. Never had any problems with them. They shipped things very quickly. I've never ordered any tires from them though.
I did order rims from them once, and as soon as they gave me the shipping numbers I noticed I ordered the wrong thing. Called them up and they intercepted the package from UPS before it was sent out. I will continue to do business with them.

Thanks Mike! That's what I want to hear :-)

Anyone know about the Anthracite, does it match the look of the factory wheels?

Get with Moosestang on the other forums. He bought some 17 x 9's from them and he said the color was close not perfect. The factory caps dont fit. He sent me some pics and they look a shade darker to me.

What other forums are you talking about? If he's got some photos, I wouldn't mind checking them. But if they are close, that's fine with me if they aren't perfect.

As long as all 4 wheels are the same color, does it really matter if they are not spot on to the factory color?

I'm only ordering the rears (for now), if they are close to the shade of the fronts, that's fine with me.

Oh, I see. Well, I dunno about the anthracites, since I got all 4 blacks.

I believe Leo (Leo06GT) just bought some 18x10's and 18x9's from there, I am sure he will chime in here soon.

Are you talking about the stock 17" bullits? If so I think it's going to look very awkward. I'd say just wait till you get the fronts.

Here's some pics.

Wheels fit great, clear coat finish is poor

Yep, I have the 18x10 in back and the 18x9 in front with Pirelli P Zero Neros. I love the fit and the way they look on the car: perfect. Prices are very good.

The PROBLEM is that the clear coat finish on the deep dish stinks. It is whitish and discolored on the back wheels badly so they always look dirty, and I'm in SoCal so there's not much rain nor is there any crud on the road. When I called them, the wheels weren't even on the car a full year and they told me the finish is only warranted for 90 days [mine were still in the box 90 days in]. My tires are starting to wear out so I have to decide what I should do next.

The color is very close. And no, our centercaps don't fit [a "misunderstanding" with them when I ordered], so I made my own covering up the ugly plexiglass "M" that comes with them. I took an extra set of Ford caps, sanded down the backs and roughed up the plexi, two-part epoxied them on and they look perfect.

I ran the stock 17s up front for a while and hardly anyone noticed. You can see the stock fronts on the car at drags. The other pic shows all the 18s when I was pulling out of Cars N Coffee in Irvine CA [someone else took the shot and posted it]. It looks good.

I love the stupid things, but I still can't get over the clear coat failing, nor the company's refusal to stand behind them. I guess you get what you pay for" $164 for a wheel is cheap.
