I was noticing this, but figured it's due to the extreme heat. It cools off pretty good after about 4 minutes.

I have noticed the heat makes the A/C less effective during the initial startup and for about the first few minutes, but I can tell you that I have had pulleys and taken them off recently and noticed absolutely no difference in any system bieng compromised.

Isn't that what they're supposed to do?

I want the factory pulley on for my supercharger pulley to piggyback to, I am not sure if the underdrive crank pulley will fit with the Procharger system. Even if it did I have since gained my rwhp with other mods. I also had some difficulty with the engine's cranshaft wobble sensor not liking the pulleys I put on.

That's what I was thinking. Thought the point of pulleys was to pull tension off of the other components that the belt was turning, so as to free up horsepower. Of course it stands to reason, if the compressor is not turning at the same rate or tension, it would not be as cold.

I've got the Steedas and havent noticed any difference in a/c. Ive heard others female-dog about the a/c not bein too great once it gets past 90 outside, with the STOCK pulleys, tho. So could be the car just dont have that great an a/c system anyway. But just to mention, I noticed that the Steedas gave the car a bit more oomph off the line in around town driving. Just be SURE that the bolt is torqued Exactly the way they tell you to in the directions or you will urinate off the wobble sensor!

Well, I freeze to death even it's a 120 outside, so if someone is concerned with the A/C not being cold at 90, somethin ain't right.

I don't have pully's though, for this very reason and a few more.

ditto! There are some issues with the 4.6 and under drives I dont care to get involved in.
Ive used the A/C every since I got mine in April. We dont have a lot of cool days here from April till Oct. A/C works great here in the N Texas heat.

If someone urinates off (or on) the wobble sensor, they must not like their car very much!
