Anyone installed o2 sensor risers?

All,

Im running a Bassani X-pipe with high flow cats. When I load up a tune that turns o2 sensors on after a while I get a code set for Catalyst below threshold...

Has anyone tried using o2 sensor risers to move the sensor out of the direct flow to combat this?

It's easy to install and it's cheap. I never seen these before but it's worth a try for sure.

Yes. Installed 1 set, and still got codes. Then I installed 2 sets. No more codes.

Ive had mine in for just over 400 miles and still no codes. The important thing is I was able to finally get my car inspected.

I had the same issue with hi-flow cats and I used the "spark plug non-fouler trick" and it worked for me after using two sets for each rear O2 sensor https://themustangsource.com/f637/mi...09-gts-494749/

That wouldn't work for me here in Texas. I installed the Brenspeed tune in my car to turn the light off and when inspected it failed because O2, O2 heater, and Catalyst were all not ready. I asked Brent if he could set it so only Catalyst would be not ready and he said he couldn't. Appears its an all or nothing type thing.

He suggested we use the tune with O2 on and the non foulers which so far is still working for me.

Oh, by the way... The one's that Brenspeed is selling do not require any drilling to be done on your part for the sensor to fit.
