Anyone Here Have Full Bassani Exhaust?
I'm looking for any owners of the Bassani X-Pipe mated with their Bassani mufflers. Hi-flow cat and off road pipe are the variations I'm looking for (Bassani sells the hi-flo cat and off road pipes together as a package, I believe).
Anyway, anyone with Bassani Hi-Flow Cats and/or offroad pipes - any sound/video clips? How do they sound? Good? Loud? Ridiculously loud (the you can't hear the radio/your passenger talk at highway speed loud)?
Thanks for any input you guys might have.

I have the o/r pipe and mufflers and I love them. Sound is great although on these 3V cars it is not the typical modular mustang sound of the past and thats with any exhaust combo. It is loud but with the windows up it is fine. with the windows down you will need to crank that radio a little. I would go with the o/r legs if your not worried about emissions since the hi flow cat version isnt really good for any more power than stock. LT headers would complete it but not the best power to price ratio at the moment. sorry no sound clips yet--

I have the full system. I like it a lot. I am running with the cats on. It is nice and loud with cats on and I can imagine without the cats that it would be crazy loud. I have had several combinations of Magnaflows with both the Magnaflow x-pipe and Bassani x-pipe. The full Bassani system sound the best IMO. There is some drone at 2000 RPM but it isn't that bad compared to other exhausts at this volume level. The best sound clip I have heard is at www.mymustangpage.com. Go to jstang's profile and the 5th page has a clip of the system. Its about the mose accurate out there. I have a clip if anyone wants to host a 10M file.
Overall I give Bassani a big thumbs up.

I had the full system, I had the high flow cats, xpipe, and axle backs . The sound was amazing. Also in mm&ff bassani is one of the only set ups that did show gains with both the high flow cats/xpipe, and axle backs, borla showed less gains, and most showed no change or even losses. Bassani is at the top of the list. You get what you pay for. I sold my mustang and just recently sold the whole set up. Good luck if you get the bassani you will love it.
I like this subject...
I've been through many exhaust systems and let me tell you the Bassani setup is the best in my opinion. Like they said above the drone is minimal compared to others. ie... Magnapacks.
Here is a video (soundclip) of my setup.

Bassani x-pipe (w/cats) and Bassani axlebacks.
Hope this helps_Jay

j-stang,
Awesome video....sold me on that exhaust combo...
Thanks for the extra work of making the video and posting it...
I'd send that video to Bassani for future 'customer reference' ....if I was Bassani, I'd send you a full refund for the video work...

nice video-I have the full stainless even though it probably wouldnt matter that much here in florida as it would up north even though there is some salt from the ocean here. I am waiting for their headers to come out but like I said the power gains from the headers just dont justify the price yet.
I am also looking at Bassani's X-Pipe setups. I currently have the stainless steel axle-backs, and want to add an X-Pipe, I'm just not sure if I want to go with their cats or off-road kit.
In doing my research, I found that Bassani's website says one thing, while someone told me another. So I decided to call Bassani.
I just got off the phone with Amanda from Bassani, 2 things:
1) She confirmed for me that the information on their website is incorrect. You'll notice they have the BX system as being a "3 piece modular" set, while the stainless steel is a "5 piece modular" set. She stated that both kits are exactly the same (i.e. number of pieces, hangers, clamps, etc.), with the exception of the material that is used.
2) Amanda also mentioned that they are finishing up their long-tube headers for the '05 GT's, and will have them out soon. This is the first I've heard of them, no release dates or anything, she just said "the guys in the back are finishing up the long-tubes now".
Soon we'll be able to get the "full" Bassani kits.

Have the stainless bassini axlebacks and plan on the same for Offroad X-Pipes w/ option to switch in the hi-flow cats....within a few weeks -
having work on her right now and not ready till a couple weeks more ---
Guys - thanks for the info as i have not heard a full system on an 05 here in H-Town...now my decision is easy !
and the Shaker 1000 will definately be ready to crank!
