Either of you guys changing out your GTA's (GRAYPNY & sycd) going to sell them? I'm interested in a pair of them for my '07. Getting really tired of the stockers, just don't have that much extra money for the '07, with all of the stuff I'm doing to the '66.

If these new GTA mufflers are intended for the GT500, can they still fit on a regular GT?

They should, since the GT500 and GT share the same muffler.

Are you sure they share the same muffler? Not doubting you, just wondering where you got this info. I do know they both look very very similar, and sound similar as well.

I got my GTA's from Ninosport and they are not quite as loud as I thought but they will wear in and get louder. They did look just like the stock ones I took off. Except they were alot lighter. Best deal I could find on them.

I'm 99.9% sure they are the same. I don't have the part numbers or anything but they look exactly the same. Even if they aren't an exact match, both cars share the same hangers and exit point. The same mufflers will work on a V6, GT or GT500.

GTAs should have a much nicer tip on them than stockers....or did you mean the chamber looked the same?

I got the SS street version. It's louder than stock, but adaquate for daily driving. Very deep, howls at WOT. Sounds like a muscle car should when you really get on it.

Are they polished on the chamber or just the tips. What distinguishes them from the "BX" line?

I meant the actual chamber looked the same as stock....The only difference looking at them was the tips.

These are the GTA's I was talking about
http://www.ninosport.com/Ford-Racing...=2&category=90

They also have a TMS.com discount. See their article in The Marketplace forum for details.

The whole muffler is shiny, but I'm not sure if they are "polished". The tips are polished though, I know that.

As far as how to tell the difference between the BX and SS...I have no idea. I just found out mine are not magnetic, even though they are SS. Supposedly higher grade Stainless Steel is not as magnetic as lower grades, so the BX with the low grade steel should be magnetic, while the SS version evidently is not.

I hope these new GTAs are droneless too...

The part number is 5230-SVT1, are these made by Supreme Performance?

Take a look...there is also a picture of them on the Fordracing parts home page in the "Hot New Product" section.

Here's a closer picture of them:
800$ for mufflers?

They very well may be the Bullit mufflers. That would explain the high price since they are going to be used a lot for the Job 2.

Will be produced on Job 2. It is a package option like the CS. Don't know if it actually has different mufflers though.

The description mentions...

• 3 ½" Packed Exhaust Tips

so these new GTA mufflers may be the ones that comw with that upgrade group. Now I'm

Does this mean these new GTA mufflers will produce a similar sound to the Bullitt car from 1968??!!!
