Anyone have a Shaker Hood with BBK Throttle Body?

Just installed the BBK throttle body and it's thicker so my shaker won't bolt in anymore. I rigged it up temporarily but is there another bracket I can get? What did you guys do?

Any reason why you swapped out the stock TB?

I am just going to make some new brackets. Does the throttle body not provide any benefits? My car is much more responsive and definitely more power but I guess that could be the delete plates?

Really? Crap.... What's the issue with them? I kept my OEM but still.... I was going by the reviews on American Muscle. Are the worse than the OEM or just provide no advantages?

The TB will gain you maybe 3hp on an N/A motor. It's not a hindrance to airflow until you're pushing serious power levels.

Their gears ar notoriuos of sticking (I think they are made from plastic or something like that) making the TB inoperative. It could happen tomorrow or it may not happen at all (if you get lucky). Lot of people had bed expieriences with them.
