Anyone have problems with JLT rubbing hood liner?

I just upgraded my K&N Aircharger to a JLT2 and love the performance difference, but the filter rubs my hood liner. It is installed correctly and I have adjusted it several times, but it still rubs and has almost rubbed a hole in my hood liner. I ordered a sleek hood liner from WMS hoping it will fix the problem, but I'm not sure...the link is................................................ ............ http://www.wmsracing.com/pgi-PRODUCT%20SPEC?WMS-SHB05M
Has anyone had any problems with their filter rubbing?

That's my only complaint about the JLT. However as stated above, I have noticed other intakes do the same thing. On mine, it did not put a hole through the liner, so I just let it rub.

No, the JLT heat shield did not help me at all. I have been using a MRT heat shield I bought in '05. It does not work perfect, but I modded it enough that it works better than what came with my JLT. I plan to try the JLT shield put out by Tillmanspeed. The new liner shown above looks good too.

Mine is rubbing too. It isn't rubbing on the liner though I think if I didnt have the Steeda Intake Spacer installed it would be. It looks to be rubbing on a round portion of the hood itself.

I'm going to see what I can do about adjusting it when I get home from work.
