anyone have this mufflers?

http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/mufflers.html

05-08 MUSTANG MUFFLER DELETE RACE PIPES are the ones im asking about. just wondering if anyone has these and if so, do u have an audio or video clip.

wondering if they would be a cheap alternative to the SLP loudmouths

I am not sure, but for the sound you could probably just pull off your mufflers now and see how it sounds. That is basically what the "mufflers" do.

Except for not getting the very nice SLP tips, this would be a cheap way to go. Should sound similar, not so sure how much the foot long double walled SLP tips alter the exhaust sound but don't think it would be much diffrent.

I got my loudmouths when they were like $220, and to me they were worth it, but not for what they sell for now.

The only real advantage the SLP's have over that set is the tips, which as I mentioned are really very nice, can be tucked away under the bumper for a stealthy look or you can adjust them to jut out. Those look like they would not be so easy to adjust to your personal tastes.

Yeah, those are some pretty ugly tips they're offering. Not sure if the extra cost of the SLP's is worth the better tips though. If the SLP tips had more of an angle to them, they'd definitely be worth it since no one makes a decent set of tips with the correct angle.

Yes, with no cats, it would probably be too loud. I have the stock H and it sounds great w/o mufflers.
