I liked the upgrade. Well worth the 180.00 from Steeda.

Steeda also. Helps a little with mid range torque.

I got the ones from MMR for the same price. I definitely can feel a difference after installing them.

Do underdrive pulleys require a different belt? I've never done those before, but sounds like a good option.

The Steeda uses the stock belt.

No, they come with two pulleys... a smaller harmonic balancer which is where all the HP comes from and then a larger water pump belt which makes up for the smaller harmonic balancer. That way, you can keep your existing belt. And I really wouldn't pay someone else to install these... they are really easy. You will have to rent a 3-finger puller from an auto parts store. But, the entire install took me about an hour. And I have no real experience. I've done everything on my car (other than the tint) and saved a load of money on labor, as well as get the satisfaction of doing it myself.

If you even have a puller, then you have enough know-how to install these pulleys. I didn't even know what a two-finger puller was, much less a three-finger one. Save yourself seventy bucks.

I thought Bryan (2005redgt) did not net much hp for the underdrive pulleys? Maybe I am mistaken...

I think I remember him saying that, but I can definitely feel a difference. Won't know for sure until I get it dyno'ed. Of all the upgrades I've done, other than the SCT XCalibrator, I felt the most increase in power after installing the pulleys. I think Bryan was doing a bunch of other stuff at the time, and there may have been a decrease somewhere else. Pulleys will get you more HP... it would be impossible for them not to, if you think about it.

I've got them and dyno'd with Bryan.....I bought the Steeda version and I think they might have given 5 or so hp....my feeling is that the main gain was in torque....Car felt much better under accleration and the holeshot improved greatly...

May sound silly but I keep hearing the term "holeshot". I am not a racer so what does that mean exactly?

Do you have to flash the computer for a pulley? I wouldn't think so but I have no idea.
