Over axle pipes install/removal

Hello...i have done this...you have to jack up car as high as you can,and support car with a good set of jackstands...at body jacking points. Then i supported axle with a floor jack. You will need to dissconnect rear sway bar links at body...Then lower axle as far as it will go. Then just loosen up clamps at midpipe and snake them out. Aftermarket pipes go in and out much easier than stockers do...due to less bends.Hope this helps out.

I think that makes sense. What are the jacking points? I always put the jack stands on the axel.

I did what he said, although I didn't have to remove the sway bar links. All I did was jack the car up, support it with jackstands (I use the front mounting area for the LCA's) and remove the jack, letting the wheels extend all the way down as far as they'll go. That gave me enough room to get the stockers out and the Borlas in.

Hey Bill, you're supposed to place the jackstands on a level surface!!!

Better replace that missing floor tile!

I'm waiting for all of them to go, then I can go for the black and white checkered floor!

You can start any time, I think there are enough missing already to start the pattern.
