i researched the heck out of every mod ive made, and am VERY happy with every single one of them.

the only thing i regret, well 2 things, have to do with driving the car and self control:
1) i would not of put 30,000 miles on it in the first year of ownership, though it was worth it for the enjoyment i got
2) i would not of ever power-shifted except at the track, cuz i blew out my rear end and now the "fixed" rear vibrates badly when i let off the gas, and is embarassing to take people for rides in it (though they are usually too scared from gettin pinned in their seat to notice)
To me, powershifting is shifting without clutching. Is this what you do at the track? What is it you mean when you say this....? In the old days I had a few cars I shifted like this and I shift my bike this way once in a while. I have always clutched my Stang... What is Powershifting?

I regret that for over 23 years I didn't tell my wife
to go to heck because she didn't want anything that
resembled detroit muscle to be in the driveway
I regret not finding this forum faster.
I regret that I can't drive a lot of the cars you
guys have
Overall no regrets with getting the mustang. It's a heck of
a lot more fun than a 560sl.From the looks of it a lot of
great mods are yet to come.

Can't resist, can anyone try to explain the difference
in the driving experience between 3.73 gears and 4.10's.
I have 3.73's and don't know enough if I should regret
it.

I regret that i bought Superchip tuner
the reason i bought supership because i dont live in the US. and all the companys just ship to us and canada so i had no other choose other than summit racing

by the way i sent the superchip back to update it, it didnt even work though when i first put it on it said that i have to send it back to superchip and that sucked.

Shifting without letting up on the gas. Clutch is still used.

OK, thanks. I think that would get some getting used to for me to let it happen the first few times. It sounds like it as damaging. Thanks for letting me know what it is! I hear it a lot. It's been too many years since I had a stick.

Wow... I'm having a hard time finding anything I regret doing. Even though I have changed stuff over time, I don't really regret any of it. I suppose if I had to single out something, it would be waiting so long to switch from Predator to the X2 from Doug. I don't regret getting the Pred (cuz the X2 wasn't avail yet), but why did I wait like 3 months to switch??
