Aluminum Driveshaft installed, but have a concern

I had the Shaft Masters AL. 3.5" driveshaft installed a couple days ago and now when the car moves up and down with the bumps of the road I can feel the shifter move, MGW Shifter, as if its being pulled or pushed from the DS. Is this normal with 05+ Stangs with 1 piece DS's? Thanks...

Call Shaftmasters at 1-866-912-2004 about this problem. This is not a good situation and needs to be remedied as soon as possible. We have had one other customer who reported that he had to readjust the throw on his shifter because it was hitting the balance weight. We now are welding the balance weights on the transmission end of the driveshaft in a different location to avoid this problem in the future.

I don't get that feeling, but when I go over speed bumps in my development, I can feel a vibration in my Hurst shifter as the back wheels go over the bump. I don't know if this is normal or not. My car is also lowered 1.75" in the rear and 1.25" in the front. I don't know if that means I need an adj UCA or not to fix my pinion angle, or if I live with this, will it do any damage??

Just to be clear on this. The situation with the balance weight hitting was on a vehicle with a Saleen shifter and not an MGW. From what we have seen on MGW shifter install pictorials it is more likely that the accordian boot on the shaft would be making contact if anything. Our 3.5" shafts are a true 3.5" in both the tubing diameter and spline sleeve diameter. The boot that covers the splines, by nature, must be larger than 3.5". We have measured the diameter of a boot and at it's largest it is 4".

The MGW shifter is adjustable under the car- you can screw the shifter block in & out which lengthens or shortens the shift throw accordingly. When you screw it out to shorten the throw, it pushes the block closer to the shaft. On the Shaftmaster shafts, it is indeed the rubber boot that can make contact.

MGW states you can have the clock screwed out anywhere from 1 to 10 turns I believe...... I know when I had mine at 9 turns out, it would make contact occasionally with the rubber boot. I screwed my block in to 6 turns out, and it doesn't make contact at that point. I also didn't notice the shifter throw being much different, so I was fine with that.
