Can anyone tell me the backlash spec's 05GT's 8.8" rear end w/ 3:55's? Can ya do one better and e-mail me a PDF of that section?

I assume that the lash should be set the same as before even with a shorter gear like a 4:10. My FRPP 4:10's are whining and the shop AND I are reluctant to put it back up on the lift for an entire day. I trust these guys but wanted to know what the factory specs are to compare to their setting.

Thanks in advance.

Speaking of this has anyone got the shop manual stuff on changing Caster and toe settings? I already got camber from the issues section.

Thanks
James

Do a search for the spec's I posted them awhile back.
As for changing caster there is no adjustment for this. (at least from the factory)

I searched your username for alignment, caster, and toe but couldn't find anything on it. I got the info from Dustin in the PDFs though.

Now I just need to decide if I want to change my toe settings before events.

One thing to note when setting the backlash... when you torque the two bearing caps down, the backlash measure is slightly different then when they are only partially tight.... So be sure you torque them down to spec before measuring it. With my 4.30s I ended up with just over .008" all around.
