I would like to know more before I bring my car to the dealership.

 

I thought the ticking was normal?

 

I thought it was the clutch fan engaging?

 

There are so many different ticking noises the car makes, hard to keep track.

 

That is SO true. Air conditioning, the gears shifting abnormally (tranny noise) on an AUTO, bla bla bla...

 

No, this is not the A/C cycling, not injector, nor transmission noises. This is head ticking noises.

Don't you hate it when you go to the doctor finally, but you don't have the symptoms at that moment when he's looking at you. This is a Eureka moment for you!

 

Heck YEAH man - my brother and I feel so justfied - I think I saw this TSB already on 2005Stang a few weeks ago - but I knew I wasn't crazy with the sound I knew I heard - cause the car did NOT do it when I first got it.....

If I can actually get that fixed after all this time?.... wow I just might do a happy dance.....

 

I never really noticed this on my car... But I will have to check.

 

What dealership will you take the car to get them to look at this issue? If you have any success please let me know to whom you spoke with so I can contact them. Dave, do you have any of these same issues?

Sad to say I have resorted to other dealers as all trying to do things with Galdes Ford has gotten me is the run around.......

My brother has a line on one of the local dealers close to my job here in Boca and is checking it out - need to have the door handle replaced, the Shaker swapped out, and the above TSB.....

If it works out and things go WELL (the past times with 2 different cars I have had to deal with the Service Dept, I have either been partly to completely dissapointed) I will definitely let you know and give you the right name to go to there!

BTW - Oct 8th and 9th Ford Power Festival at Moroso - you gonna come by???
I actually think I saw your car just as me and my group were getting ready to pull out of the Dave's Memory Rev's on Mustang Show at Moroso a little while back......

 

Be there on the 8th. No go on the 9th, I have family plans. I might meet Dave there as well to go down the track a few times. I am also planning to go to Steeda Day earlier that same day. Please keep me informed about the TSB. Thanks
