I,ve got a question on after market air filter kits how many people out there have put them on a 2005 GT or are considering doing this?I had a k&n system on my 1994 GT auto and did not think it made that much of a difference to the performance or gas consumption of my previous car. This is just my 2 cents worth has anyone else out there had good with other after market airkits isn,t factory good enough!

it only adds 3-7 hp on most NA cars but if you look at the k/n filter kit for the 04 cobra it adds 15-20 hp, so if you plan on going with a s/c eventually it is a good idea. Plus either way a couple of hp for a small fee and better air cleaning cant hurt

with the factory setup from Ford with running it rich, adding more air definitly isn't going to hurt I wouldn't think. In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see a gain of around 10-15, anyone got any dynos done on CAI's?

the stock 05 GT intake hose and airbox look very restrictive, so I imagine a good cold air system is going to help out.
