This guy Dave in the next town over from me has is own shop. He does custom exhaust, roll cages and other stuff for dirt track guys, local drag guys and circle track guys. He did my exhaust and made a custom h-pipe that sounds sweet . when I do my 347 he is going to build the custom long tubes for it.

I've got full bassani. Midlength headers that only bassani X will fit. Would have to get them cut and made also. Gotta can those mufflers first.

Not me. I've got Kooks LT headers in Seven with high flow catted x pipe and Borla Stingers. Sounds like heaven to me. And I've gotten lots of compliments on the sound from non car people.

Also the R came with an x pipe stock.

I think x pipe sound is heavily dependant on mufflers. My dynomax takes most, if not all the rasp out of it.

My only problem is I really need to keep a straight thru muffler so the raspy and popping on decel I'll probably have to live with.

Sorry but what is the difference between o/r pipes and high flows? Or are they even the same thing orrr... Bc I'm thinking about doing the or x with my stingers and maybe long tubes too but the sound on the highway is what I hated with my old mustang

So it's the same as your original setup but the high flow cats are less restrictive... And not illegal like the o/r pipe. It seems so simple now. Haha thanks guys!

The o/r is only illegal if you get caught.

I believe that technically even the high flow cats are illegal in that it is illegal to remove a properly operating factory catalytic converter from the car even to replace it.

Or so I've been told. But I don't see how that's even remotely enforceable.
