I was doing some digging around on the SCT forums and found this. It's a CAI system, and they claim you do not need a tune for it. 8hp & 9Ft/lbs of torque gain, $427.... afe This is thier web site. Anyone ever seen or used any of their systems? Looks like pretty good quality. I did find some cheaper prices on some other sites for their stuff.

Dude . . . . . that's just the CAI????

There are many other options available that offer more gain for less $$$$.

Do a search with "CAI" as the keyword.

Part Number

MSRP (As Of 4/19/2005)

I don't think that's a good HP/$ ratio.

Looks like a lot nicer quality than the ones thrown together by most. I would have to say the only better looking cai is the jlt, with its nice intake tube. But some says it attracts heat etc. I like the cover for filter etc. Looks like they may have actually put some time into this one. I guess only time will tell. Who is going to be the first dyno guinea pig. LOL. Well anyway looks very nice and solidly built.

I was really wondering how they are able not to tune after they put the system on. If they can do it why can't everyone else. If your pulling more air your a/f ratio is gonna be afu..... Any suggestions or comments on that?
