Just flashed my Gt with the 93 tune, Does it make a difference which tune i select does the higher mean better?? i went with the 93 octane for 1 reason because of the high octane . So i would think the only way to tell is by having it dyno'd with each tune.. But as for performance with the 93 i love it, pulls at lower rpm,s and more throttle responce..... Thanks

Good luck. I think the higher grade you go, the more HP you get in higher gears. At least that is what my buddy who has tuned his said. He states that he really feels a pull when in 4th and 5th.

I can tell you from experience that the higher the number has no correlation to the horsepower output. It ALL depends on who made your tune and how well they were able to match it to your upgrades or if they used a "canned" tune. I have several tunes and most of them are "canned." I found out last Saturday that my 87 octane tune made more horsepower than any of my other tunes, approximately 6rwhp higher. If you have a stock car with just an X-calibrator then a "canned" tune will most likely yield higher numbers with higher fuel ratings but you will never know for sure without a dyno and A/F ratios.
