60mm pillar gauge pod?

Anyone know if any vendor is making a 60mm pillar gauge pod for the S197? The new PLX DM-200 OLED gauges have a lot of cutting-edge technological features for gauges... but I haven't found anyone who make a 60mm gauge pod to house it in the Mustang A-pillar. They also just came out with an OBDII DM-200 scan gauge.

I just saw this. Looks pretty interesting. Only drawback is that you have to mount a control box somewhere and run a separate power lead and have a wired remote. The aeroforce gauges look a lot easier to install but then they don't have a fancy OLED screen.

I am interested in what you find out about these gauges. I see they are going to release a 2-1/16" version next month. Any ideas on mounting solutions for the separate box?

Chad: I'm on the fence between the Aeroforce Interceptor and the PLX DM-100 OBDII. (already ruled out the MSD Dashhawk). Yes, after enough pressure, PLX decided to bring a 52MM OBDII solution to market (the 60mm just was not "poddable"). I like the Organic LED / custom-gauge functionality of the PLX. Each PCM PID can be displayed in it's own unique format (needle style analog gauge or digital) including real-time graph plotting. The cons include finding a mount location for the control boxes. I say boxes (plural) as I'm also deciding on a Wideband solution (LC-1, AEM-UEGO, PLX SM-AFR). If I go with PLX, I'll have 2 control boxes (SM-AFR and the DM-100 Display controllers). I think the only real mounting options are under the dash, footwell, or under seats. Another option might be under the rear seat.

I've seen 4 separate video clips on the PLX hardware, and it's really impressive.

I posted the screen sizes of the display on the 60mm and 52mm gauges at the PLX forums. It appears the 52mm gauge has about half the screen size as the 60mm gauge. I am starting to lean back to the aeroforce gauge due to its simplicity to install, shift lights and cost but am still holding out for more opinions.

I did some searching around and found the info:

HDD-200 (DM-200) Screen is 220 x 176 = 38720 Pixels
HDD-100 (DM-100) Screen is 160 x 128 = 20480 Pixels

The HDD-200 screen is 1.89 times larger than the screen on the HDD-100 assuming my math is correct. There is a bit of a difference in screen size for that 5/16" in diameter.

Thanks!

Those gauges look great. I actually like them more than the interceptor series.

I agree there's a difference between the PLX DM200 vs DM100 screen size... I'd prefer the DM200 if someone made a 60mm Pod for the S197. My guess is the Aeroforce Interceptor screen may even be smaller than the DM100 (only based on pics I've seen). The actual 'viewing' area of the Interceptor screen is a rectangular shape.. Do yourself a favor and peruse through the Aeroforce Interceptor Forum... lots of problems with screen resolution issues and fade (screens only rated to 160*F. A locked car in the sun pushes that limit). I also agree cost & installation wise, Aeroforce is lower and easier. However IMO, aesthetically, PLX beats any gauge out there with it's ability to display in digital, needle style analog, plot-graph, or custom gauge.
