I appreciate you posting your information.

I appreciate you posting your build information. No B.S.

A separate issue though, I'm not sure if I understand why you insist on wasting one more second or dollar on that faulty BBK throttle body though?

It is your time and money, so you are going to do what you want.

If indeed the stock throttle body is good for over 525rwhp why throw good time and money away after after bad?

Again thanks for sharing your build information.

Great job. Very nice work and beautiful car. I am interested in the idea of increasing the horspower non-aspirated and strengthening the engine at the same time. Excellent results. Thanks for sharing.

I know it's proven to work to that, but I also know you get a bit of an added throttle response from an aftermarket and I would hate taking a step back, I looked into a Black Diamond last night and send out a few emails, if it comes back with a reasonable price I'll buy a new one and be done with it. I really want to be done with this issue.

And no problem on the info, had a lot of people asking, might as well know what your going to get yourself into.

These are throttle by wire cars so throttle response is only as good as the computer telling the actuator to open the throttle body when the loud pedal is pushed.

LOL... good luck with that! I'm thinking the engine has to have some kind of air, or it won't run at all. haha

I honestly think that is your best choice. It will flow plenty for you. The stock TB worked great for me with 12psi boost and 39lb injectors. It wasn't until I wanted to go above 14psi boost did I need to increase the air and fuel.

theres a company that is "polishing" the stock TB's and picking up a little flow and hp, seemingly even better than the aftermarket ones because NO PROBLEMS, Zabteck is the company, may be worth checking if you need a little extra flow, not sure the comparison with FI is the same vs NA for flow, with an extra source to move air, size may matter.

I think that sounds like a very good direction to go...

Let us know if that takes care of your problem with the throttle body codes...

senior moment

The car is actually plenty fast as it is bone stock with a lovely growl and looks to kill I might add. I like the idea of improving the horsepower without the blower but strengthening the engine at the same time.
