3V Valve Covers

I got my hands on an extra set of valve covers for my GT but noticed that the breather tube on the driver side cover is bent and loose in the hole. Can this be fixed or replaced?
I was looking to powdercoat them and then swap them onto my GT.

I just went to my local ford dealer and found out that the part is not replacable. They suggested that I try to RTV it so it wont leak or buy a new one for $ 154. (OUCH)

You should be able to buy a set of take-offs for less than the price of the replacement tube.
Have a co-worker who could powder coat the covers for you if interested. Mine turned out fantastic

I finally had a chance to put mine back on today. I had the OEM ones powder coated locally here and they turned out better than I could imagine.

Is your car a daily driver or do you have an alternative means of transportation while they get powder coated. If so, just pull out the stock ones and send them out to get powder coated.

I will take a pic tomorrow of mine and post it here.
