If you're daily driving go with the 73's. If you want that extra "umph" from the rear, and don't mind the gas mileage, go for the 4.10's. They make the car feel like a rocket ship!

Hey man!!!
did you get the spoiler situation worked out??
anything else on the DONE or TO DO list?....

Hey if you are interested in traveling for a really cool show, a group of us (most from mid Florida) are doing the Fantasy of Flight show in Polk City next month - great turn out last year (200+ cars), a great show, and if there early that morning, you get a pic of your Pony with a P-51 fighter plane

I have decided to go with 3:73's even though I have a manual cause my car is a daily driver, and I have never gone to the track. I might in the future but just once in awhile.

Yes, 3dCarbon sent me a new version of their GT500 spoiler that's held on with four bolts. It's perfect now! I finally installed the Steeda UDPs that I had sitting around for a year. Also, finally got my windows tinted today (15% all around). I bought an 07 factory hood scoop, which I dropped off to be painted today. Added factory Sirius to the wife's stang. So, I've been busy.

I'll have to check on that Fantasy of Flight show and see if we can make it, and let you know. Sounds like fun! Is there a website/link that tells more about the show?

Sorry CR - them's the breaks sometimes

(then again, driving around down here in the middle of sweltering AUGUST is unbearable... )

By the way - my buddy just got his Mazda Speed 3 and wants us to do a roadtrip later this year with both cars. We want to hit Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina but will be visiting a buddy in Jersey - we'll swing out west by you guys and drop by the shop!

Good deal man - I know that spoiler thing was driving you nuts. Can;t wait to see it with the hood scoop!

Here's the link

its the same weekend as the Bass Pro shops show we all did together years back - but this show is WAY more fun. Lemme know if you plan on going - I can give you easy directions how to get there. (From Boynton it would take me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours so it might be best of you go to plan to stay at a hotel)

I'm using frpp 4.10's and find them way too much gear for the oem tires to handle. Since I don't plan on upgrading my tires, as well a using the car more on the highway than I expected, I'm backing up to frpp 3.73's. It should help my highway mileage also that took a hit.

How about it 3.73 manual owners, worth it or just stick the 3.55's back in? At the time I bought the 4.10's frpp didn't have the newer F373N gears available.

+1 ...
I got the 4:10's...best MOD to date.

3:73's for S/C or future S/C.
4:10's for the N/A or Nitrous crowd.

What can I expect to pay for 3.73 gears plus installation?

Help me understand this logic...... you can buy new (bigger) tires for about the same price as removing the 4.10s, buying 3.73s, and installing the new gears. I guess I don't understand why you just wouldn't buy new tires, atleast for the rear anyway.

I bought my 4.10s for about $160 and paid about $275 for labor and parts.
