Cause I've called to a shop that only does mustangs and he's charging me 150 and I wanted to know if it was a good price and I was also wondering how are the 3.73s in 5 gear cause the 3.31 that I have seem like it loses power as soon as I shift it to 5th

Sounds like a good price to me! As for 5th gear, that's one of my favorite things about the 3.73s, when you're on the freeway at 65-75 mph in 5th if you roll on the throttle the acceleration is immediately there. The vast majority of the time I find that it's really not necessary to drop to 4th to overtake slower traffic, I just roll on the throttle in 5th. I only change down if I'm on a two lane highway and am crossing into the opposing lane to overtake.
According to my little kiwi MPG calculator, yeah. At 55-65MPH from Downingtown, PA to Harrisburg, PA, (turnpike) it ended up at 27.4MPG or something like that. If the drive was longer, I'm sure I would've cracked 28MPG, cause it was still climbing when I got to Harrisburg. When the trip was done... I wanted to hug the car.
Now, keep in mind, if you get rowdy with it... you have to pay. And highway will drop to about 22MPG(per my onboard computer). Not too bad though, all things considered.

If you have miles on your car plan on getting a master bearing kit and axel bearings and seals. With the parts and labor, I was at like $800 at ford. Labor was 405. Gears and master bearing kit was like 225. All other parts and fluids were like 150. You might wanna get an extra pinion bearing in case they don't get the backlash right the first time. Ford banged me for one at $86 which is more than I paid for the whole fing kit...
Talk to your mechanic and see what he will need, my guy didn't need anything but the gears and fluid. He said all that other stuff is for bad/lazy mechanics that can't do the job right (Mileage may change that but he said he has extras laying around). He has done 6 cars in our club, and none of them have had issues so I gotta say he knows his stuff.
