I just put 3.73 in mine a couple months ago. Before, I was running 3.31s, FRPP CAI, bama tune, and the FRPP M230S Exhaust with 20" Shelby Razors. I was getting about 23MPG on the highway, 21MPG on the backroads.
When I put the 3.73s on, I also put on a Steeda underdrive pulley, I am now getting 27+MPG on the highway (with everything from before still there). On the back roads, it's like 19-20mpg...because I love to hear it roar. :P
As for which one would be better for you, no idea...but I can tell you that I am completely satisfied with the 3.73s. No regrets at all.

I'm running their 89 "I'll pass state inspection" tune and have been for a while. (I forget the name exactly, but it's their "safest" 89 tune.) I would say I definitely felt the difference.
It didn't knock my socks off but it definitely felt more peppier. Getting onto the highway is a whole new [great] experience. If you can, see if you find a few stangs with 3.73s in them and test drive. Bullitts came stock with 3.73s, I believe, and the lots probably have a new 2013 sitting around with 3.73 in them.
No, my car has never been tracked(so long as I've owned it anyway).
EDIT: Doing a quick Autotrader search using your location listed from the forum, there's a 2010GT with 3.73s not too far from you. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...22217791&Log=0 (it doesn't list that it has 3.73s, but I looked up the vin on Ford's window sticker generator and it came from the factory with 3.73s)

Do you do alot of highway driving? If not I doubt you will notice any loss in MPG and could see an increase. What you will notice is an increase is pulling power when taking off.
At 75mph your RPMs will be around;
3.55 2233
3.73 2347
4.10 2579
This is with a manual 5spd
I see alot of people complaing that it makes 1st gear worthless, or they have to shift more. If you are one of these people trade in for an automatic.
The modular 4.6 makes it's power in higher RPMs, don't fear the gear if you want to get to your power quicker! Some cars can lose time in the 1320, ours don't.
Go with the 3.73s if you want to be more conservative for a daily driver, 4.10s for max fun factor. Feel free to ask any specific questions you may have.

You CAN NOT go wrong with 410s. Just got mine installed last week. Went from 331 to 410, really noticeable difference. Especially since I'm cammed and have less low end torque than stock. Loss in mpg is negligible.

I have 3.73s in my car and IMO theyre the perfect daily driver gear ratio. The engine still settles down nicely in 5th at 75 and i average 21 mpg to a tank in mixed driving. But when I step on it it really picks up, and downshifting to 4th to overtake on the highway really gets the car moving.
I can confirm that my car with only the gears was significantly faster than an 07 GT 5speed with CAI and tune and the stock 3.31 gears.
4.10s will make a big difference on the strip but IMO are too aggressive for a daily driver. That's just my opinion...
