3.73 gears in AUTOMATIC

Just wondering who has this set up and what do you think. I am considering a gear swap in my Automatic. I have read the auto's don't need much gear. Looking for some more grunt off the line!

I had the 3.73s and traded them in for 4.10s before installing. Lot of expense to go to for only a 12.7% change. I opted for the 4.10s as that is a 23.9% change. Most of my driving is in town and fuel mileage has not suffered. Only thing I should mention is the 1-2 & 2-3 shifts come very quick now. Even that can be changed if you don't like it but I have not.

You guys might want to read the info from Alternative Auto. They have probably done more on the Autos that anyone.
Alternative Auto
Here is a direct quote from them:
"Our car has a 3.55 in the axle, not the stock 3.31. But the 3.55s are a total wash because all they do is make up for the 1.5” taller rear tire we run on a 20” rim. Plus our 12 second ET’s came with the regular rear tires on the 20 rims. Not a drag radial! As I suspected and predicted, the automatics will only need a very subtle gear change for some good quarter mile performance.
