would 225/45/17 BF Goodrich drag radials be a good fit on the stock bullitts?

Any info would be appreciated.

They would probably be too narrow for the rim. Why go with such a small skinny tire?

I thought the 275/40/17 would be too big for the stock bullitt

Some people have put the 275/40s on 8" wheels, but I'd be nervous about it myself. I put mine on 17x9 wheels.

I also think the 225s would be too small... not only too narrow, but they are also only about 25" dia.

Do you have any suggestions for the stock rims? I have stock bullitts, and a set of the optional rims as well.

I'm running 275/40's on my stock upgrade rims, no problems at all.

do you have a picture of this? I would like to see how it looks. I'm thinking about getting some but want to make sure that it's not going to fail on me.

it does not bulge out any more than stock tires...the bulge is just relocated to where the rubber is instead of along the side wall. 275/40 works perfectly

Well, here's what they look like. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I'm heading to the track today!
