2005 Mustang GT 1/4 Time

I have an automatic 2005 Mustang GT with a C&L Racer intake, Tillmanspeed Tune, and Stingers, my best time was a 13.64, but consistantly ran in the 13.7s. Are these times good, bad, or normal?

I did beat my friend's 6-speed BMW 335i coupe! So even if the times are not good that still made it worth it!

Seems respectable to me...... You can check out the timeslip thread and look for comparable cars if you'd like.

Before i got Whippled, my car with an Alternative Auto tune, C&L street intake, 4.10's, and a manual would run 13.50-13.55 at 105. This is with 275/40/18's up front.

Ran 13.84 all Stock (259 RWHP) and 12.89 (302 RWHP) with intake, tune, UDP's, X pipe and alum Drive shaft and some sticky tires. Learned how to launch the car a bit better since stock also.
Haven't run it since the Super Charger install but should be low 12's-High 11's.

Where is the track you race at---and more importantly what is the elevation, and what were the conditions.

Example: If you were at sea level with 50 degree weather then those times would be so-so, average. But, if you did that in 90 degree weather at a track that was 2500 feet in elevation, then those times become excellent.

Back in November of 2004 I ran my car bone stock with 300 miles on the car. I went 13.6 @ 99.83.
After an Alternative Auto tune and a C & L intake, with 4.10 gears I went a best of 13.002 @ 105 and change.

See, thats my point right there---depending on the track DA- his car could actually be just as fast if you race at a track with mineshaft air (the northeast) and he races at a track with 3,000 foot DA. Can't really compare until we know the track stats.

It was in Florida at night so the temperature was 75-80, it was a hot night, and probably about zero feet above sea level.
