Good tips. And I will definitely be getting the 4.10's after doing more research. By the way, I got a 13.1 second 1/4 mile time with my g-timer yesterday on the way home from work. And I don't even have 4.10's installed yet. Nothing wrong with this auto at all. 0-60 was 4.7 seconds. And I still have some room for improvement as far as the launch goes.

I don't have access to a track near me. I'm in the process of taking some 1/4 mile runs with my G-Timer. I'll establish a good average and then after I install the gears I can see the improvement. Although the G-Timer is not 100% accurate, it will still give me an accurate improvement once I change the gears. And I'm definitely not expecting 4/10ths. I'll expect 2/10ths... and if I get more, even better.

Not sure why you say an auto is not the way to go. There have been plenty of great auto runs. I can do the research for you if you want and supply proof. Sounds like you spun the tires out a good bit, and may have some issues. But I don't see a problem with my auto, or autos in general. My car personally, which is an auto, does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.6 @ 102, 60' in 2 seconds flat. And I haven't even put my 4.10's in yet.

Yes, It would help for you to post your time slip. Which track were you at? Do you know the altitude? How many miles on the car?

here are 3 runs. 1st was my best reaction time out of all the 14.6 runs. 2nd was my best run. and the rest of the runs were consistant with the 3rd.
info:shaker 500, stock tires, 1/4 tank gas, spare in trunk, 3,000 miles, axle back exhaust is only mod,not sure about weight but i think they weigh around 3650, temp was about 70, elevation is 450 ft
